Welcome to Athena Leadership
We are a Manitoba-based, non-profit organization dedicated to advancing women+ in leadership. Through mentorship, networking, leadership development and peer collaboration, Athena Leadership strives to build personal and professional capacity for women+. We encourage our members to think bigger, and provide opportunities to share expertise, enhance skills through tangible learning, and to build relationships.
Our Mission
Athena Leadership is a developmental forum providing opportunity for like-minded women+ to network, enhance leadership ability, and share expertise. It provisions learning and mentorship and the creation of stronger networks. Athena encourages its members to think bigger, and develop themselves personally and professionally in setting example for others in the community.
Leader of Tomorrow Scholarship
The Athena Leader of Tomorrow Scholarship is awarded annually to a young woman+ who exemplifies Athena values of empowerment, integrity, and philanthropy, as well as the characteristics of Greek goddess Athena (wisdom, strategy, and heroism). The recipient will have a proven track record in making a difference in other people’s lives through exceptional community involvement, demonstrable leadership, and a strong commitment to her own professional development and career path.

“Be A Leader” Necklace
In 2016, Athena Leadership, along with our friends at Hilary Druxman, proudly launched its "Be a Leader" Necklace - a philanthropic piece custom-designed to support Athena’s Leader of Tomorrow Scholarship fund. All net necklace proceeds benefit the fund, which provides educational opportunities that enhance the lives of the young leaders.
